KK Food Trail

We adjourned to Shangri-La's Rasa Ria Resort & Spa on the 3rd day of our trip in KK and stayed there for two nights (or was it three?) as our friend's wedding was held there.

Our stay there was lovely. The beds were so comfy and the rooms were clean. Enjoyed the facilities there as well.

Had lunch at Tepi Laut Makan Street on one of our days there. Food wasn't too bad.

Ordered this for Olivia but she only ate a few chips. We ended up eating all her fish fingers.

Mike's order - typical of him.

Only problem about dining here are the annoying flies - including sand flies!
Insect repellent is a must.

We also dined at Teppanyaki Kozan for dinner.

Grilled prawn.

The water was pretty clear.

Wouldn't mind going to KK again for this beach.

Other KK eats that we tried :

Pork Noodles @ Kedai Kopi Jia Siang

Not too bad but I prefer the pork noodles in KL.

Tom Yam Noodles @ Kedai Kopi Janggut

A bowl of tasty goodness.

We also had some noodles + big prawns.

...and some salted cabbage seafood soup with fish maw....

Needless to say, the bill was a killer.

Someone at the shop asked me whether I was from Singapore.
It's sad when people think that you're from Singapore but all you have is Ringgit in your purse.
Is that why the bill was so expensive?! HMMMM.
