Pangkor Laut

I wanted to bring Olivia to a beach and was deciding between going to Langkawi or Pangkor Laut.

We decided on settling for the latter because we thought that it would be more convenient to drive there instead of catching a flight.

Also, we have heard so much about Pangkor Laut but have never been there before so it was about time we checked this place out, for once. Haha.

Even though we took the Resident's Package which is supposed to be cheaper as all meals are included, it was still pretty pricey but I could see why it was expensive.

The resort and island are very well maintained. Service is also excellent. The beach is clean. Food is above average. Rooms are nice. You do get what you pay for at Pangkor Laut.

We stayed at the beach villa. I thought that the beach would be accessible from this villa but it turns out that we had to take a shuttle van to get to Emerald Bay beach.

Nevertheless, we enjoyed the view from our room and we liked the convenience of heading to the pool, a minute away from our room.

The moment we entered, she ran straight for the pen and paper.

Loved the open air bath tub.

Busy inspecting the room with her "comments" for improvement written down. LOL.

Just exploring around - here's Olivia seeing a hornbill for the first time.

Meditating in the middle of the garden.

More pictures to come.
