The Mother's Bday Dinner @ Home

I enjoy cooking but it's really tiring at the same time.
I have always wondered how do the chefs on TV make cooking look so effortless.

The menu that my sister prepared.

I was in charge of the appetizers - the tiger prawn aglio olio and cauliflower soup.

Cauliflower soup topped with sauteed mushrooms made from scratch.

I love blending things.
I love seeing the vegetables turn into a thick creamy puree texture.

My sister was in charge of the mains - the roasted pork belly which was super yum. Crackling mmm.

My sister baked a lovely orange birthday cake.

Cakes in my house generally have a lifespan of 3 days.
We're all avid cake eaters.
