Family bonding over tea.
We sat at the Colonial Cafe.
The ambience was still lovely (despite us not sitting in the orchid room).
Didn't want to pay extra just to sit in a room filled with flowers.
Prudent spending is the way to go. . .
but having tea at Majestic totally contradicts that -_-
Oh well. What the mother wants, the mother gets.
Filial daughters we are. LOL.
Looking in from the outside. Hahaha.
Just one of the tea sets that came. It was WAY too much for the three of us.
Major disappointment. Dry and tough scones.
The hot food wasn't my cup of tea at all.
I really couldn't eat the egg stuffed inside some minced beef thingy.
The texture was just crumbly and weird. It was like a minced Ramly patty.
Chocolate eclairs - I like my eclairs with moist chocolate. Not stiff chocolate.
Sandwiches were okay. Cheesecake and red velvet cake was okay.
But OKAY just doesn't cut it for a place like this.
BUT then again, the high tea price here is relatively cheaper compared to other hotels.
But still, the calories just wasn't worth it, in my opinion.
